Homework #10

The first assignment for this online class was “3 Questions”.  It seemed to me that this assignment has helped me to recall my memory a lot.  When I did this assignment I have reviewed all the steps that I was spend to learn English between why I should learn English and how I feel when I talk to people by English.  That’s why it was very good for myself it liked a reminder for those hard time I spent.  Therefore, I like this assignment the most.

The second assignment was “Comment” this assignment has one thing that I really like about is we could trade our blogs for each other.  By using this way and comment what we think about experience of our classmates this made us to know more about each other and get good lesson for ourselves.

The third assignment was “Learning Styles Survey”.  This one wanted us to answer a lot of problems about ourselves.  It was very simple and interested to me because after I took the test I could know my strengths in education like nature, mathematics.  Also, it gave a lot good advices for us to motivate ourselves in many good ways by using my strengths.

“Freedom Writers” – 1 Paragraph was the one that I like too because when I did it like an essay I have reviewed structure of writing by one Paragraph.  Also, I really like this film when I first watched it at high school.  It was a meaningful film that I think everyone should watch it.

“Daily English” was the fifth assignment that we did.   In my opinion, I think this assignment is the best one for us to practice English.  When I did this assignment I could write anything that happened to me for my daily life.  I was very interested while doing this homework.  Besides that I could practice more writing in English.

“Freedom Writers” 3 Paragraph was the assignment helps me to learn structure to write an essay with three paragraphs.  Also, I need to find more details to add in.  I like this way because I have rewrote and checked my essay again to correct my mistakes.

The seventh assignment was “A Good Place to Study” that helps me practice writing essay for final.  It was very helpful that I realized that I have to take more time before I write an essay because it very hard me to get ideas right the way that’s why I know I have to practice more writing essay a lot as I can.

“2 Recommended Websites” was the one of the assignment I think it ‘s very meaningful because I could share my websites, which I use to watch and learn English. 

“Visit a Classmate’s Recommended Websites” was helpful for my classmates and me too because we could know more websites that help for Esl students like us.  This assignment helps me to get more experiences for myself from my classmates.

The last assignment for this class was “Blog Evaluations” was the one that I think it helps us conclude everything we did about how we improve our English day by day because of this online class.  Also, It helps me to express what I feel for all of each assignment.  This online class is very helpful and meaningful I would like to do more this way more and more in the future.  I really like this assignment, which I could write a lot of treasure things that I learned from this class.

Kelly has recommended two websites for Esl students, which are http://www.languageguide.org/ and http://www.manythings.org/.  In my opinion, I think both of these websites are very helpful because it contains lot of different languages with definition of the words.  Also, it helps us to learn English by picture and music that is a smart way to make student get more interested in learning.

This website is the one that I think is very helpful for ESL student like us because when I was study at highschool my teacher wanted us to watched everyday for practice our listen skill.  Therefore I realize that this website is the one that we can improve our English also know about good news that people in the world care about.

            This website is very helpful for us to easy to cite our information sources.  It  is very necessary because it helps us to avoid about plagiarism.  Also it very helpful for us when we write an essay that we want put in some good quotes from another writers.

A Good Place to Study

Nowadays education is the main role that people care about.  Everyone have their own ways with their favorite spot for studying.  No matter what they study about they will find a place where they able to concentrate in.  To me library is a good place to study.

Library is one of the places that very popular for students to study because it is very comfortable and convenience.  Firstly,  library is a free bookstore and computer that we do not have to buy or rent for the books.  For instance, if we do not have a laptop to bring to school for study whenever we want we can come to the library anytime we want with free internet also we may find a lot of knowledge’s and information’s in a lot of book that we don’t have to buy it.  In addition, library is a good place for reading.  For example, in our house we try to pay attention to read a book but our family’s member do not know about that they just come and knock the door so we will not able to concentrate in reading.  However, at library nobody bother us we can read in quietly with our favorite spot.  Thirdly, library might be a good place for study group.  Like our teacher gives us a project and members in group try to find a place that everyone can go but the time and places are conflict each other.  Therefore, library is the best options for us to study with any information’s we want to find out.

In conclusion, library is the best choice for everyone who wants to concentrate and get good result about study.  The place where we can find favorite spot for study and any books that we want to get information from.

3-paragraph essay about the movie "Freedom Writers"

A meaningful movie

Freedom Writers was a good movie.  This movie is about how a group of high school students have changed their destiny and their life in good ways.  They had gained their self-motivation toward school because of a passionate teacher. 

Freedom Writers movie shows us the importance of education.  At first, the students in Mrs. G did not care anything about school so they ignored a lot of good things they should know.  For example, when they have started to read a book called “The Diary of Anne Frank “ after that they have figured out new things they never know before that’s why they felt very interested in the book.  Freedom Writers has a good example of dedicated teacher.  Mrs. Gruwell was the one who believed in her students even when a lot of teachers and her department head in school just ignored and did not care about them.  She tried to help them everything she could by taking on two part time jobs to pay for more books for her students also spent a lot more time at school.  Third, this movie has contained good thing that it mentions about historical event.  For instance, when her student drew a picture that about racists and Mrs. G taught them about the Holocaust.  The period of time that when Hitler became Chancellor of Germany and the number of the people who were killed in the Holocaust is in the millions.

 In conclusion, Freedom Writers was a meaningful movie, which contains lots of good lessons in life and knowledge about history.   Also it brings to us good example of the responsibility of a teacher should have.
